NCC (Nutricereal Convention 3.0): The Nutricereal Convention 3.0, organized by Nutrihub in collaboration with the Department of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare and UN FAO, served as a high-profile curtain-raiser for the International Year of Millets (IYoM) 2023. The presence of Shri Narendra Singh Tomar, Hon'ble Minister for Agriculture & Co-operation, as the chief guest, along with other dignitaries like the Secretary DARE & DG ICAR, Dr. Trilochan Mohapatra, underscored the national importance given to millet promotion. The convention featured exhibits from 50 start-ups supported by Nutrihub, showcasing the innovative products and technologies emerging in the millet sector. Technical sessions and side events provided platforms for in-depth discussions on various aspects of millet cultivation, processing, and marketing. With 1,500 participants, this event played a crucial role in setting the stage for India's year-long focus on millets, bringing together key stakeholders from government, industry, and research institutions.
